Leicester have been boosted by the news that Galliford Try are extending their sponsorship of the Lions this year. The Hinckley-based construction company is currently delivering the A46 and A5630 Highways Improvement scheme on behalf of Leicestershire County Council.
Stewart Dickson, the Lions senior manager said: “Galliford Try backed the club last season at the start of the road improvement project and we are really pleased that the company is continuing their sponsorship with Leicester Speedway for the forthcoming season.
“They are such a high profile and respected company to be partnered with and the road improvement scheme will make a significant difference to the flow of traffic in and around the area and from a speedway point of view it will benefit fans travelling to and from the stadium on match days.
“We value their continued support and in return we will be carrying periodic project information updates on our website for people to follow the progress of the scheme as it moves towards completion of the project.”
